The NBS Macroeconomic Climate Index leading index fell 0.6% m/m in March to equal the lagging index at 97.8. The coincident index rose 0.4% m/m, while the lagging index rose 0.3%. The leading index is broadly directional with real GDP growth, although not very timely.
