Standard Chartered SME Confidence Index was steady in June at 50.1, maintaining a marginally expansionary reading in the wake of the US tariff shock. Output prices were also steady at 50.2, while the expectations measure rose slightly to 50.5 from 50.3. SME confidence remains subdued relative to previous decades and pre-pandemic levels.
